After graduating from Brown University and a brief career in journalism, Peter Asen joined OSA's staff in 2005 as the Development and Communications Director.  Peter took a brief hiatus from OSA to manage a U.S. Congressional campaign in Maine, where he grew up, and returned to Rhode Island in the fall of 2008 to become Associate Director of OSA.

Born in the Dominican Republic but raised in Rhode Island, Ivette has been on OSA's staff since 2005.  After graduating from Mount Pleasant High School, Ivette attended URI where she earned both a BS and a BA.  As OSA's lead organizer, she is currently working on the Health Care for America Now campaign.  She tries to live by the saying, "The successful person remembers yesterday with pride, lives today with enthusiasm, and looks to tomorrow with confidence."

Originally from Maryland, Daniel joined OSA's staff full-time in May of 2008.  He previously worked with OSA during the 2006 elections on the non-partisan Voice Your Vote and Voter Action civic engagement campaigns.  Daniel graduated from Vassar College in 2004 with a BA in History.  Daniel moved to Rhode Island after working on the 2004 presidential election in Wisconsin.  Prior to working at OSA, he worked as a community organizer with the SEIU Local 615 on the Rhode Island Justice for Janitors campaign.
